Lovely post, I do agree a little more saturation would be even better. Well done
Bonsoir, Anne-Marie.
Jolie photo.

Hello Anne Marie...
This is a very interesting capture for several reasons! First I love old trains, and this is a real treat... Second, this is interesting frontier history... Third, it is a good photograph, hehehehehe! Well composed with good details, the latter important for this kind of image... maybe I miss a tad more saturated colours, but maybe not present since I see this is an early digital shot? Anyway... thanks for sharing this goodie!
Regards,
Pablo -
I'll return with your well deserved greenie tomorrow, seems like I'm always out after week-ends... hehehehe OK!

Merci.

Very nice photo Anne!
Looks like something out of a western movie. Should I expect to see a cowboy, John Wayne maybe? :)
I like the background with the snowy mountains.
Well done!

It really is a pity that the sky was so grey/white. I see a patch of blue to the right. Maybe you should consider in this kind of shot to "fill" the sky with blue. It is allowed and it is only cheating a bit. And it improves photos a lot.

I like the tones here, Anne Marie. I was at this place last year and loved it! The trains make nice leading lines that bring the eye in. Nice work!

Hello Anne Marie,
Excellent POV which shows the old rolling stock off so well against the backdrop of the mountains. Good natural looking colours (so I must disagree with those who say more saturation) and excellent detail. TFS,
David

Hi Anne Marie, Interesting historical photo. The Rio Grande has found whats over the other side. Great backdrop which is inspirational to see these Colorado mountains. Good result. Murray.

It's a place for meeting were the conductors can speak eyes in the eyes:
- Hey buddy! Long trip!
- Yeah as usual.... How many cows?
- 267 and about you?
- 274... It was close... But i win this time :)
Cause yes! They count the cow like cow look at the trains passing :)
That's a very interesting view! With the montain behind... THat's great!

Being a railroad man (amongst the many hats I wear), I like all things railroad, particularly nostalgia, having lived on the tailend of some of these cabooses for many years in Canada....
Cheers
