[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Was supposed to fly home to Delaware from Minnesota today, but Philadelphia was fogged in with temperatures at 4C. The Philly airport shut down, everything greyed out, and all flights cancelled until tomorrow. As an antidote to all that grey and gloom, I offer this bright and cheerful photo of a fire hydrant across the street from where I'm staying, standing in the snow like a brave little soldier.

ISO 200, focal length 73.0 mm, cropped, saturated color

A '9.2' on the Florendo scale.
Does punch one in the cojones first thing in the morning.
At first, I thought was a little old lady wearing a red hat.
Severe crit: It is a pity that the 'thing' behind is also the same colour. Visually confusing for an old boy at this end. The strong diagonal shadow helps hugely, though.
Hey - this is GOOD.

colors are over saturated and the snow is .... yellow!
I would go back to the original and reprocess
