| Intro: | I have been interested in photography since I was very young and usually have my camera near by to try to capture that elusive "perfect shot". Over the last 12 months I have spent most of my time taking portraits in my studio. There is nothing more satisfying than someone stating " you've just captured the shot perfectly" or capturing the personality of the subject and not just making a good job of the lighting and composition of the shot. I don't post any of these shots as they are mainly of families and their Children, very personal shots that I keep that way. While I can happily hold my own in the studio, I am still working on my landscapes, which need a lot of work!!! My Cousin in Law is a published and very proficient large format landscape photographer so I am looking to him for insperation (and guidance). Current equipment Canon EOS 350D, Sigma 2.8 EX DG 24-70mm macro, Canon 18mm - 55mm , Cannon 55mm - 200mm Lens'. Battery grip, Cokin Filters, polarisers, and recently I purchased a set of Fox close up lenses, now these are superb bits of kit for the macro stuff, just not had time to shoot any!!. Konica Minolta Dimage A200, 1.5 teleconverter and various filters. |
