Brian,
There was just too much white space at the top of the picture so I cropped it... the trees and the beautiful foreground got lost amongst all the white sky. I think the picture is more powerful now. Added border.
You took a beautiful photo.

First off, this is my first workshop and I am very new to TrekLens. The "Original Photo" is the edited photo that I uploaded first and the other is the unedited shot.

I found the unedited shot to be a bit bland, mostly due to the plain road taking up so much of the frame. Also, the colors didn't really stand out too much.

My process is pretty simple... After experimenting in Photoshop, I found that a cropped version created a nice panoramic effect and using the colorize option in Photoshop's Hue/Saturation dialog gave the photo a nice moody feel.

I actually made a print of the final product and I was pleased with the results. I shot this with my Canon EOS-10D and the 6.3MP definetly gave me some added cropping flexibility.
