Set foreground to white first
Layers tab
New fill adj layer
Gradient
Set to cover the bottom of photo
Click on gradient bar then with right top slider pull to left until the part of photo you want to make lighter is covered.
Click ok two times
Back in Layers tab set to 'Soft Light'
click right top button and 'merge visible'
Voila! |

top left : original photo
top right : add more gamma and then change levels, bright tones +100% with photofiltre...
bottom right : the same and turn to B&W just with desaturation
bottom left : my favorite version, same than top right but change the color balance with more magenta, as the green tonality is a bit weird, even if it is maybe intentional ? |
