| Intro: | Welcome. I am a Marine Biology Student at Plymouth University, Devon, UK. I have long enjoyed my photography, introduced to it through the ever-so-clunky Minolta X-700, a camera older than myself. I recently treated myself to a new camera and have begun truly exploring with my own photography. I usually take "true-to-life" pictures, in that I try not to mess about with my images too much once taken. I feel it is better when the world is awe-inspiring than when a picture is tampered with to make an impression. No production or editing has occurred unless stated. This is not to exclude certain fun or artistic pictures where the photography is less to capture a moment than to set up a foundation for a creative piece. All constructive critique of my pictures is valued. Especially in the use of the camera in terms of lenses, filters, aperture size, shutter speeds, etc. I am new to this camera and always learning.
