so this is the workshop.
1) remove frames
2) reduce noise
3) sharpen
4) add some more blue
5) add some saturation
6) reduce brightness and increase contrasts a bit
7) add new frames
I hope you like this version of your image, too.
Now I think the great shades of blue come out much better and the frame doesn't take away that much attention as before.

as I said before, I like this shot a lot for its mood.
Although I like the grainy effect caused by the higher ISO I tried a ws to make the sky look smoother. I only used the "noise reduction" function of my editing software (PaintShopPro9 this is) at 80%.
I know you like your shot as it is (so do I) but maybe you can see something that you like in this altered version, too?
I am really hoping you don't mind me changing your image.

I copied the car as a new layer and desaturated everything else.
Now the greenish touch of the window is gone and the cars in the background don't get any attention.
What do you think about this altered version of your image?

I cropped the image a bit differently. Because of this I lost your frame and added one as I would have done it if this was my image.
I think now your image has a bit more harmony without the blurred ocean in the bg.

this is the workshop. First I reduced brightness and enhanced contrasts. Then I adjusted sharpness. Again some reduction of brightness combined with an enhancement of contrasts. Finally I reduced noise caused by digital cameras. And then I changed the size a bit.

I selected the man, desaturated the whole image, enhanced contrasts and brought back the man as a new layer. Then I merged him into the image again, leaving only the two umbrellas in colour. Finally I added the frames.

here is the mentioned ws.
I cropped your image differently. By doing this I lost your signature. Sorry. This was not meant to be an offence. Then I selected the two people and darkened the background. I took a softening tool and used it on the background. I adjusted contrast on the two people and added new borders.
Now I think the viewer can concentrate more on the people and how they stand side by side. The background that is of no interest for the image is less visible.
I hope you like this altered version as much as I liked the original one.
