| Intro: | I've never had any classes or training. I bought a used Minolta 35mm SLR, played around with it and did a little reading on photography some years ago. I was excited to learn that there were so many more dimensions to photography. Quality and creativity could be achieved far beyond the cheap point'n'shoot cameras. Unfortunately, I had an accident and drowned my old SLR in bleach. It had been a couple years without a real camera and I was missing it real bad. So I went and bought a Canon Powershot A75 which gave me many of the functions of an SLR. I could see my photo, adjust film speed, shutter speed, zoom, aperature, manually focus, and add wide, tele, close-up lenses. And WooHoo! no more developing film! So I'm having fun and hope to get some pointers. | |
