Hi Guy,
I cropped away a little of the bottom to get rid of that "beach". In addition this brings some emphasis on the blank space which is nice for composition I feel here. Yours, Jan

Hi Mario, quite a nice object, with some minor changes needed. First I corrected the tilt with going 0.6 degrees against the clock. Then I used autolevels and cropped a part of the bottom as the door seemed too centered for me. Next I desaturated and played with the gradations curves until I was satisfied. All was done in PS CS, what do you think ? Yours, Jan

Purpose: To get more space for her to look at.

Done in PS CS: gave more black space around her and selected the whole model to get rid of that grey background. The upper left corner is now exactly in her view, which should add some dynamic by building a diagonal. What do you think ?

Hi Sylva,
I don't know if I went over the edge here I rotated 180 degrees and cropped so that the bridge is not centered and also that it looks like it stands on some kind of base.
This was not your objective, but just a different version. Hope you like it :) Yours, Jan

Channel Mixer and Gradiation Curves

Hi,
this is what I do for a b&W in PS CS:

1. I go to Channel Mixer and click "Monochrome" than I change the sliders to what I like. Here Red 80 / Green 16 / Blue 4

2. I go to Gradiation Curves and change what I like, very difficult to explain as there are no set percentages... :(

3. For this one I sharpened and added contrast +2
