Created 2 duplicate layers.
In the top layer I used the magic wand tool to delete the tomatoes and the one garlic clove at the front.
On the layer below I used the tool to remove digital noise.
Increased the brightness and saturation slightly on this layer.
Merged the layers.
Used the clone brush to remove the peppercorns as these were not clear on my monitor and just looked like spots.
Used the clone brush to tone down the reflection of the tomatoe. |

Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Created a new layer of the fence only.
Created a new layer and used flood fill with a green colour.
Selected the fence layer and used magic wand to select only the blank area.
Selected the green layer and deleted the selected area, this left a green layer the same shape as the fence layer, set this layer to 20% opacity.
Increased the saturation of the layer with the blackbird slightly.
Merged the layers.
Cropped the image.
Added a border. |

I only spent 10 minutes doing this from the original, there are a couple of areas that need touching up if I was able to spend more time on it, above the front wing on the left and above the windscreen.
Just tried to further my skills in PSP, nothing wrong with your version.
Using Paint Shop Pro X2.
Created a duplicate layer (always do this as I can bring details back later if required).
Used the backgound eraser tool around the car to remove the bulk of the background.
Zoomed right in and removed the parts that were left around the car using the eraser tool.
Remove the bulk of the background using the selection tool.
Created a new layer of only a black solid colour.
Placed this layer below the cut out car layer.
Merged the layers. |
