| Intro: | I have been interested in photography all my life, though at times it has taken a back seat to other activities. Since the start of 2004 my interest was re-awakened when I purchased a Canon EOS-10D, which was soon to be followed by a 1D MarkII. Moving to a digitial SLR has finally provided a way that I can achieve the results that I have been looking for without the need to step into the darkroom. My interest in photography is now progressing to Photo-essays and photo-documentaries rather than the occasional 'ooh' and 'aah' picture. I find this gives my photography more purpose and keeps me motivated to keep shooting. I enjoy exploring different subjects - people, places and times and whilst I am mostly based in France, I do enjoy travelling to different countries to visit both old and new friends.
