Dennis BoursName: Dennis Bours [Only registered TrekLens members may contact Dpbours.]
Country: Netherlands
Intro: I'm working in international development and as such having sometimes access to areas that have not seen camera's that often.
I'm originally from the Netherlands, but unfortunately I'm not back home that often. Click here for a bigger version of my profile picture.

Most of my pictures are on TrekEarth, but I also sometimes post pictures on TrekNature though not regularly. Have a look at my pictures on TrekNature .

My photographs on TrekEarth can be found here!

Sometimes I might post pictures on the same subject on TE and TN/TL, because there are different people on TrekNature, TrekLense and TrekEarth and I feel pictures of the same moment need to be shared with both communities. These will never be the same picture, but from the same batch!

If you have any questions for me, don't hesitate to send me an email!

Greetings, Dennis

PS: I REALLY appreciate it if people upload their exposure settings, equipment and exif data with their pictures. I always like to learn, but learning gets difficult if you don't know how someone got to a certain result.
As such, a picture must be really good when the basic details of the picture are lacking to receive 2 points.

Note on equipment:
It looks like I own a shitload of equipment, but on my equipment profile I also added older cameras that I don't have anymore. Otherwise it wouldn't be possible to choose the right equipment with an older picture.

The Sigma SA-300 was my first real SLR camera. But when going to Africa, I lended the Canon Epoca AF of my parents. Just a bit smaller to take along.
The Olympus C-7070 Wide Zoom really got me going. It was my first digital and then photography really became a hobby. In the end, my parents took over my Olympus and I bought a Sony DSC R1. And yeah, then at some point you get to the boundaries of a bridge camera. The Sony R1 is the bést bridge camera, but I'm slowly looking at a high-end DSLR. Who knows, maybe my parents will take over the Sony ;-).

04-2007 Found my high-end DSLR!! Went for a Nikon D200 with 18-200 VR lense. Wonderful equipment!!
