isolated the tree and landscape, made them black. Created background. Cropped the image just a little. I hope you find it an interesting result! ;-)

masking & colouring

Made a mask for the leaf and the strips on the left and right. Made a colourfill layer and filled with red, pulled density down to 38%. Inversed the mask for a second layer and coloured it white, setting the density on 61%. I hope you like the result. ;-)

colourcorrection in curves

Did a little colourcorrection in photoshop. Setting the whitepoint on the leaves of the flower. I left the flowers in the background for what they became after the first curves adjustement (a little magenta) to obtain a little contrast with the big flower.

Photoshop: added noise, copied the layer and gave that a heavy gaussian blur and also applied a curve adjustement on it to make it darker. Pulled back the density of the copied layer to blend it with the original with noise.

Aanpassingen in Photoshop: curven aangepast om de overbelichting van de voorgrond aan te passen. Vervolgens laagmasker gebruikt om de invloed van de curven aanpassing op de huizen in de schaduw weg te nemen.

A sligth adjustement in curves to increase the contrast a little bit. Burned the foreground a little in order achieve a little more depth.

Did some colour correction in photoshop using the red channel (reversed) as a layermask to brighten up the greens (selective colours). Also selective colours to brighten up the red flowers just a little. Overall curves to make the image lighter. Hope you like my point of view.
