Trying to give a more powerfull message to the picture:
- Crop some water
- Applied clarify 3x at 5%
- Converted to B&W except the lighthouse
- Aplied Neatimage to reduce the noise created by clarify.
- Framed

1. I used unsharp mask in Photoshop with values 114%, 60px, 0 levels.
2. Then (menu) Image -> Mode -> Lab color. In channels palette I selected Lightness channel. 3. 3. Then again (menu) Image -> mode -> grayscale. "Discard other channels?" YES.
4. (menu) Image -> Adjustements -> Hue/Saturation. I selected Colorize, and set Hue= 27, Saturation=25, Lightness=0.

This is different view of your photo.
