Hi Alex,

so.. here's my workshop.
I've cropped the image, and I have darkened it slightly. Also I added some contrast in the sky.

I tried to accent the farmhouse a little more by cropping the image.

Last but not least I have tried to give the sky a bit more contrast, but that seems very difficult, simply because there is not much to contast... (if you know what I mean).
Replacing the sky was out of the question, coz that would ruin the trees.

So... I conclude that all in all your picture is quite ok. Not much improvement by my Workshop ;-)

Hoi Joop,
Ook ik kon het niet laten hoor.
Prachtig plaatje van die eenzame strijder tegen de elementen...
Ook ik heb het plaatje gedraaid totdat de horizon recht stond en verder wat donkerker gemaakt, waardoor de kleuren wat dieper worden.
Uitgesneden in een "vierkant" en daarna het frame gemaakt.

Zo zie je maar weer... zoveel mensen zoveel smaken... zo was het toch??
Maar.. 't blijft een mooi plaatje en jij hebt het gemaakt!

'k heb er een wolkenlucht ingezet, simpelweg omdat blauw op blauw niet uitkwam!
het is anders dan je origineel Jos, maar beter??
Ik vind het niet echt een groot verschil, maar dat komt wellicht omdat het maar zo'n klein stukje is...

Hi Colin,
Could not resist trying to show you what I meant.
In fact I think the blur is still a bit too strong, but you can realy see the organ jump up for attention!

I selected the background and blurred it...
and that's it!

Ik moest het toch even proberen.
Foto ietwat gedraaid en netjes de witte randen weggecropt. Wel bovenaan een beetje bijgecloond, anders waren alle bomen weg.
Verder omgezet naar zwart/wit en iets lichter gemaakt en wat meer contrast gegeven.

Toch vind ik de jouwe mooier! hahhaha

I leveled the horizon, cropped it and added some contrast. Then I added some blue in the sky, coz that looked quite pale!
