Pp work:
1. copy paste another duck and resize it to make it as a duckling
2. I put the additional duckling near the mother duck to break the verticality of the subject
3. minimize duck reflections from the tabletop
4. add fonts w/ such colors to match and balance the distribution of colors
5. tweak colors using auto-levels
6. add border by using the Selection tool
7. use gradient for a fading border
8. create a shadow below the flower on the overlapped border
9. flatten layers, sharpen, then resize |

I was torn between these images and had a hard time choosing on what to post here so I consulted my friends and they said that the borderless image is more of a photography and the bordered image is just funny. They won! Now the bordered image is here in the WS :)
1. duplicate layer
2. on the top layer, create such border by using the Selection tool. Fill white on the inner border and play w/ brightness and saturation on the outer border
3. erase everything inside the borders
4. using the Selection tool, erase the things that you want to come out
5. merge layers
6. resize |
