| Intro: | I live in the Teesside area of industrial North-East England, and like the freedom digital photography gives you to snap away without worrying about the cost of film and developing. I got into photography quite a few years ago, but found film costs etc prohibitive in trying new things out. When I got my first digital camera I was opened up to the many new opportunites it gives to experiment, and no worries about wasted shots. I like to try and find a nice angle for a photo on the spur of the moment. Something different, see things from a different viewpoint and interesting to look at, and try to frame it nicely, then play around with different effects in my graphics programs. I'm interested in computers, digital photography, gadgets, hiking, mountain biking (occasionally), Geocaching, and Traction Kiting (check out my website for photos of what that's all about at HD462.tk). Update, Feb '06: Just been getting a Fuji S5600 so maybe now I'll get to learn more of the techie side of things. Hopefully some new photos to post up on the way soon. I've been on Trekearth for a while now, but just joined here, as I think some of my recent photos are more suited to the focus of this part of Trek. | |
