| Intro: | My name is Jens Christian Schroder. I’m Danish but live in Hong Kong since 2004. These are my photos. All of them are personal to me. I would appreciate to hear your personal opinion about my photos whether you like them or not. My critiques are based on my own personal opinion of a photo. I will try to critique what I find good and/or bad about a photo. I definitely do not know the universal truth about what is good or bad but I have my personal opinion and I’m sticking to it! My critiques are in no way intended to hurt any ones feelings. If you think I'm wrong in my critique then please let me know. I recently participated in the 2008 Copenhagen Photo Marathon. Luminous Landscape - a huge web site with tons of valuable information about photography. Some of the information is quite technical but definitely a great site. Chuck Gardner's photography and lighting tutorials - a good site with great tutorials on lighting for portraits. The site also has articles on using unsharp mask, posing techniques and how to turn yourself into a human tripod. Strobist - A very comprehensive web site all about a single concept of photography – How to use off camera flash. Depth Of Field Master - a great web site that explains how DOF (depth of field) works. It also includes an online DOF calculator that allows you to calculate the DOF and hypefocal distance for a given camera, lens, f-stop and distance to subject. www.gballard.net - Very good tutorial on web browser color management and how to make sure your photos look tip top on the internet.
