A couple of posts ago, John, you mentioned you couldn't possibly be an evzone because you're too short.

Can you imagine my amazement when I came home and looked at the shots I took during the changing of the guards?

He seems to have exchanged some of the equipment with his companion, but made one mistake: the legionnaires carried their gladius on the right hand side... So far for authenticity ☺

About some just remarks on first photo .. why not this and could you not left out that..
Folks , yes the remarks make sense but we all know how is is with snapshots and situations.. often its just 'That ' one and only moment.

I.e. that was precisely the kick for me and my new
VERY fast Canon 40D

Why so tight cropped?
To exclude disturbing 'rubbish ' on right and left ..focus on subject

In fact .. reading about snapshot photography during trip.. I am going to post more faces of people in coming time ..

than cropping and framing ..that I see so often with fine results by our Istanbul friend Alper:
