Out of the Box (^_^)

To increase the Out of the box effect I cropped a bit around the left and bottom. I took away the door frame behind the car to show you what I was taking about in my critique.

Added a frame and title.

Just a ray of light coming from that old dutch window (borrowed from one of Korbee's pictures - I'm sure he does not mind).
I actually would have loved to create the ray itself, but I have forgotten how to do that.

Hope you did not mind too much me playing with your creation.

Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Created 2 duplicate layers.
In the top layer I used the magic wand tool to delete the tomatoes and the one garlic clove at the front.
On the layer below I used the tool to remove digital noise.
Increased the brightness and saturation slightly on this layer.
Merged the layers.
Used the clone brush to remove the peppercorns as these were not clear on my monitor and just looked like spots.
Used the clone brush to tone down the reflection of the tomatoe.

Also used the healing tool in CS3 to remove or tone down the sparkle on the cut tomatoe. Hope that's ok!

Revived colours; increased gamma (+25); used fill tool to remove most of the 'sparkles' on the cut tomato; minor adjustment to contrast; re-sized and optimized for web

Lest anyone mistake my intentions, my WS is not intended to be a criticism of Richard's image, but is offered as an alternative only in respect of light levels and colour. In the latter regard (colour), I believe I made a mistake by reviving colours in PhotoFiltre as, in doing so, the Rembrandt-like tones and lighting of the original are debased.
