| Intro: | "Most wonderful things that you find in life are those that you find out of love... like Photography." I like taking pictures mostly of my two lovely daughters and my beautiful wife. I also like subjects in macro view, colorful landscapes, kids portraits, etc. whenever the shot presents itself. I only have limited equipment to work with, but as long as I enjoy what I do and hope won't get fired for it, post away!!! I admire the concept of this group because I think it is really hard for people to share what they have in mind for the betterment of others. This goes also to the people who have courage to have their work critiqued though they know from their perspective that it's already a masterpiece. Hats off to all! Keep posting and I know we'll surely find more interesting stuff in here... UPDATE MAY 24 '06: Sharing my two cents... -Treklens is addictive -You have lots of time for yourself or just staring in space doin' nothing, Visit TL! -You take pictures of people, places, and things when you view them for the first time you download it from your camera you thought there's nothing unusual. When you revisit them again, you'll find yourself cropping and adding the frame for your next posts. Archive and revisit old photos -Some prefer green smileys, the truth is, you'll crave for it when you don't have a lot because it somehow proves your photos are being appreciated and critiqued -Some prefer just being critiqued without the points, free will baby! -Join photo challenges, you never know... you might have something precious in you... -Don't visit TL while at the office, you'll get fired! Keep posting, there's still more to learn... Update (10/05/2007): The journey to photography continues... Haven't visited TL in a year now. Just rekindled my love to Photography and I bought a Canon Rebel XTi in Best Buy Auction at a sweet deal. This is my first DSLR and so far I'm still familiarizing myself with it since I have been with Point and shoot in years. Working with Canon at least paid-off, got the EOS manuals/guides before I got the camera. I'll post my first photos in a weeks time, so wish me luck... |
