Using the polygonal lasso tool with a 1 pixel feather, drew carefully along the top of his shoulder, up the collar, and under his chin.
I drew the shape out to almost the edge of the pic, down, and back to close it off at his shoulder. Using the clone tool set to a soft brush @20 pixels, cloned the black in under his chin. Deselected the lasso.
This took longer to type than the job took.
I'm sure you will agree he looks better for it.

Cloned out the white under the man's chin, and the wall behind the bride.
Used levels to enhance the midtones, darkened the highlights.
A little noise reduction, and unsharp mask.
Resized and framed.
I'm sure, that with a little work you will achieve a nice set of images for the bride and groom.
