I didn't apply any filters, but after Auto Levels, I faded them with 'Overlay' (about 80% I think) to bring out the colours and contrast, and framed with 10px white to match the lines on the pyramid.
As I said, nothing special, your shot is great! |

(5997) [2005-11-01 15:20:08] [7] | Just thought that this way it would look really timeless! After changing to Grayscale, I autoleveled it and Faded Autolevels with Soft Light with opacity of 30% to bring out some contrast. Added frame I thought would be suitable.

In Photoshop CS used shadows/highlights menu, and then colour correction. It brightened the image and enhanced the colours at the same time.
Then, autolevels, and then Fade Autolevels
Finally, used Neat Image to reduce the noise and make those lovely reflexions even cleaner.
Added white frame, but that's not important, is it? just a personal taste.

-straightened the horizon a bit;
-cropped the lower part;
-selected only the sky and raised contrast, added more red and yellow, autoleveled, applied 'multiply' in Fade Autolevels with opacity of 50%;
-selected only the sea and added more blue;
-framed.
