Ik heb de top eraf gelaten het gras stond er maar een beetje op. Rechts ook een deel weg zodat de paaltjes niet meer symetrisch staan. Verder het contrast wat verhoogd.

Used the clone tool on a seperate layer to duplicate the background. Slipped this layer bellow the portrait layer and set the blend mode of the portrait layer to darken to remove the distracting white patch at the top.
A very slight levels tweak (white point to the left a bit).
Selected the teath then used hue,saturation pallet and increased lightness to make whiter.
coppied catchlight from right eye to left to add a sparkle to the eyes.
Cropped to remove the partial logo at the bottom of screen.

Found the top a bit distracting, so, cloned it 'in'.
Also put it through Curves to give it some more oomph, a bit of brightness and a little more contrast, and finally a small amount of selected sharpness to emphasize the 'sparkle' in her eyes.

In Photoshop Elements, I added +30 to Contrast and -5 to Brightness. Then I adjusted the Levels slightly to brighten up the picture. Hope you like!

Frans.. ik denk dat je het wel hebt ..
Alleen zit het venijn vaak in het laatste stukje.
Ik ben rond uit een frame man!!
Ok .. ik heb er even een frame-pje aan gemeten.
Je emailde mij laatst wat een fotograaf wel of niet ziet. En dit zag ik.. Gezicht iets gezonder gemaakt en iets meer kleur gegeven .
Dan kies ik vaak een zwarte kleuy als frame .. od
(hangt van foto af) een sterk aanwezige kleur in
het onderwerp .. in dit geval de kleur van deze goedheilige broeder's Japon !
Dan de discussie over frame's is vaak oeverloos
geklets vind ik. Doe wat je zelf mooi vindt!
Nooit krijg je alle stemmen aan jou kant
