Hi Ruud,
I used the tools from PS cs2.
image > adjustments > shadow/highlight
shadow 46%, tonal width 56, radius 67px
highlight 100%, tonal width 30%, radius 10px
colorcorrection +30
midtone +38

because I didn';t had the origional I also used a bit blur tool and lightened the eye white.

Here is the origional one. I used the white balance for sunny weatrher but it became to "warm". I made the crop so that you only see the swan and also a suggestion of diagonals.
