Dan Margulis- Professional Photoshop, 5th edition My name is Nelu Goia, I`m born in the old world (Europe, Romania) in the last century, about in the same period of time when first people got to the Moon .For three years now I live in the new world, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I stayed back from computers as much as I could yet I ended up working as a computer guy for the Calgary Board of Education… I started photography 17 years ago and I hated digital photography in its first years because the quality was just too lousy compared to the film. Now I only shoot digital… I married a girl I never thought I would and it turned out pretty well… I moved where I never thought I would move and I like it here… So, here is my question: what is the purpose of planning ahead? I think you should just follow the first instinct, the first feeling and this is true about photography, too. Enjoy it, do it, try to make it better and share it. This is the reason for I am here now. I only shoot in raw mode and I keep all my photos because I believe that there is no such thing like a bad photo; it`s only bad post-processing. I keep all my raw photos because if I`m not able to fix them now I will be tomorrow. I consider myself pretty comfortable with Photoshop, I`m doing it for about three years and I`m enjoying that. As much as time allows me, I will try to write useful notes about my photos and about the post-processing. See you around, Nelu | |
