I used NeatImage (a demo version from neatimage.com), used autoprofile. Then I increased Noise levels - luminance +75% chrominance - +110, and noise reduction amounts: luminance 90%, chrominance - 100%
Doesn't look great now?

The grain is not so visible when making the photo smaller. Your original photo was large enough to resize it. I added a frame which makes the impression I didn't change the size so much.

- Curves one point: in/out: 172/96
- Selected rectangle and feathered with 30px
- Inverted selection and darkened with curves

I used curves, burn tool to change tones and make your daughter's face more visible. I blurred some parts and added color gradient at left and right side to make it more warm.
