| Intro: | Hello . . . Classical singing is my primary passion and profession and photography comes along as a meaningful and interesting hobby, which has re-blossomed through digital photography. Thanks for viewing my photographs. I have limited means, time, energy and equipment for this hobby, but I still want to participate. I hope you enjoy my photos . . . and find some of them interesting. I have no aspirations of professionalism and post both to share my life and to share how I see the world, in some ways. I have also always loved photographs, which I think I learned partially from my father who took lots of 16mm family movies, which we watched over and over for years, in addition to hundreds of family photos. :O) I remember what an adventure it was to have "family movie night," when Dad would pull out the multitude of small rolls of film for viewing. Today those images stretch back quite a few years and it's amazing to see people who are no longer with us and the old cars. My father also made a trip to Cuba in 1937 and took 16mm movies which are an interesting step back in time. Viewing other people's work feeds my enthusiasm and perspective on how to capture those specs of stopped time in space; often an exciting adventure! I find it rewarding to see and learn from these often amazing images of the greater world and to stand in awe of the variety of ways in which other people view life and the world.
