| Intro: | I am a retired former university sports administrator. I still retain a deep interest in sport,particularly Olympic sport. I am in remission with breast cancer having experienced the trauma of surgery,chemotherapy and radio therapy.In February 2008 I passed the six year mark in my recovery. However cancer has taught me the value of the moment and making the best of it.In 1999 I discovered the joy of the digital camera. 6 grand children in the past 3 years also keep me busy. Have upgraded to a Sony Alpha 100 Digital SLR (10 megapixels).The difference between the old and the new cameras is chalk and cheese. The Alpha has opened up so many more possibilities. Favourite shots are outdoor scenes and family.Special love is the Monaro country of southern New South Wales. "The Great Shot is out there,waiting." | |
