This is just a thought and I hope I've not completely destroyed your picture.
In PSE6 (which you also use) there is a useful feature in Enhance - Adjust Lighting - Shadows/Highlights. There are three sliders, "Lighten Shadows", "Darken Hightlights" and "Midtone Contrast". With this I lightened the shadows just a little and darkened the highlights just a little too: I didn't touch the other slider.
This I have found to be one way of dealing with a sky which is too light - it's all right if you're careful but it does wierd unnatural things if you overcook it.

What weather!
After I took this, the snow turned into a blizzard and the street was quickly under a couple of inches of snow. Sadly, it never stayed long enough for good shots on the following day!

(17832) [2008-04-07 01:49:31] [1] | Bev, this is just to show you what PhotoFiltre (free) can do as alternative for the flood filter.
Open new black canvas 800x800.
Open your picture and copy - paste as new - rename as flood.
Use Filter/Deform/Lake reflection and after that Image/Flip vertical - Adjust - up brightness and contrast and crop the part you like looks good as a reflection, then Edit/Copy and Edit/Paste on the new black canvas.
Click on original picture and use the square called transparant colour p then click on the BG and that will get transparent.
Do Edit/Copy and Edit paste also on the black canvas and move untill satisfied with the position.
Then I got your copyright sign from the original and pasted it at the bottem.
I think now you have double sun/fun....
