| Intro: | I am from Islamabad, Pakistan currently residing in United Arab Emirates. I am a Geophysicist by profession but now in a related Oil & Gas IT business. I started photography when I was 8 years old with one of my uncles Olympus. Turned digital about 5 years ago and switched to Digital SLR about 3 years ago.First digital SLR was Canon 300D which is now retired and I now own a Canon 20D while dreaming of Canon EOS-1Ds MARK II. I will get there Inshallah. Updated on 27th of September 2006 --------------------------------- A friend of mine, Muhsin (mark25 on treklens) has reminded me of a forgotten dream to buy medium format cameras such as hasselblad and really classic digital cameras such as Leica R series (R9). So today I stretch my dreams a bit and from now on I will be dreaming of; * Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II * A medium format camera (Such as Hasselblad) * Leica R9 (or any upgrade of this series) ----------------------------------------------- Update 4th April 2007 Spent hefty amount on Canon 5D. After shooting few shots, I have realized it is worth every penny as I expected. --------------------------------------------- Update 10th August 2008: Quiting Treklens.
