Do let me know what you think

(23588) [2008-07-04 04:16:41] | | This tighter PoV makes the most of the steeple, but you can see how the light sky would not work in a collage with the other two |

increase image size and crop | Silke
(23588) [2008-06-26 15:40:52] [1] | In order not to lose too much from the image, I had to increase the size of the picture. Usually when you do that, it becomes pixillated (full of large pixel blocks). However, you can do it gradually. Increase the picture by no more than 10% and then save under a new name. Now increase again, and save again. Repeat that a few times until you get the size you want. (There is a limit to how often you can do it without losing quality.) Then I simply cropped tight and a little more square and added the thinnest of frames.
I hope the result gives you some ideas

 Hue & Saturation | Silke
(23588) [2008-06-23 10:50:15] [1] | I wanted to punch up the sky just slightly, so I selected just the cyans in colour saturation, slid the hue a little more toward the blue and increased the saturation
What do you think?

curves & colour saturation | Silke
(23588) [2008-06-21 06:45:32] [3] | | I wanted to see what would happen if I adjusted the curves for the overcast sky (to bring out more texture). It is much moodier now -- not a better view but perhaps an alternate one? I hope you like the result. |

curves & colour saturation | Silke
(23588) [2008-06-17 16:42:52] [2] | what I did was simply to adjust the curves so that the sky was a little darker. then I increased the overall colour saturation. Then I selected the yellow (which is what grasses are in our images) and slid the hue bar more towards the green and the desaturated the green slightly.
Hope you like it

(23588) [2008-06-16 03:16:35] [10] | this was a very simple fix -- I simply applied a warming filter at 45% density

(23588) [2008-06-13 13:45:01] [3] | In order to make the birds stand out a little more, I simply increased the brightness by 17% and the contrast by 27%.
I hope you like the result
