I hope you didnt mind me doing a quick workshop here, using photofiltre I cropped and re sized the image as large as I could without loosing too much sharpness. I adjusted the gamma correction down to bring in more colour and framed the to further accentuate it and to bring it to TL size as it could not be enlarged any more. |

I agree that the cut off stick and line is a problem, so I have attempted a workshop.
1. Create a white border on the left hand side.
2. Clone a complete length of sky over the border
3. Remake the end of the stick by cloning from the snow (to get the right colour).
4. Clone out the line on the right.
5. Create the border.
6. Add the text.
7. Resize.
8. Raise the saturation a little.
9. Run through neat image to reduce a little noise.
