As you can see I had to clone the lady on the right out. I also used the contrast, history brush and burn tool to realize the desired final results. Thanks for checking it out! Tim
Your picture is just very good as it is, but I wanted to play with the depth of field. I cut the upper part to put the horizon line higher, and also to get rid of the blue sky in the upper left part.
That way, you lose some DOF but you emphasis on the foreground...
Lots of Layers. Using a background of clouds from Portugal. Isolated child and eraesed background. 2 layers of clouds with quick mask made a 'hole or window' for child on the xecond cloud layer. 2 child layers one sharpened and color adjsuted 2nd layer several passes throu neat image and then eraesed the eyes nose mouth on the second layer. Cloning here and there (cursed a bit and went to dishes got some ideas and came back) used lens flair for the light. Added border used Mystical pluch in for the colors on the frame.
I had some trouble working on the left hadn and the countour of the head.
