| Intro: | Hello there, nice to look me up ! I picked up photography when I had to spend some time abroad, later I used it occasionally at special events, parties, family reunions etc. But in these days it was an expensive hobby and each picture had to be considered money-wise. Nowadays, in the era of digital photography, these arguments don't play anymore. We have the capability to capture images ad libitum and process them to make them look the way we want them to be seen. From the moment I owned my first digital, I published some of my pictures on my website , in a kind of photoblog with my home-city as subject (de Straatloper), recently succeeded by a new project WALTERations Initiatives such as TE/TL/TN offer a great opportunity to vent our opinions of contributions by fellow-photographers from all over the world. They show examples of what can be done and the way to achieve certain visual or processing effects. Due to the ever increasing succes of this site, with new additions every few seconds it becomes hard to keep track of individual members. So accept my apologies if I haven't commented on any of your pictures recently. I usually go through the pages and comment on what I feel is worth to be commented on.
