- cropped to a somewhat more symmetrical compo
- added a sepia tone on it to make it appear even older
- applied USM 85%,1,1
- and applied a Diffuse glow effect to wipe out all unnecessary (IMO at least) structures.
Not meant to be better, just different... |

With them active, I only made adjustments to brightness & contrast. Minor saturation increase and saved for web.
