(468) [2006-07-16 01:51:41] [2] | I could not resist to try to make this pretty shot look better. using psp9.
- First used Fade correction to restore original tones,
- neat image to remove a bit of noise,
- then i selected all of the surrounding dark sky (magic wand and manually)
- and removed larger scratch manually (clone tool) and other minor with the auto small scratch removal tool.
- Finally I lowered brightness a lot and removed some other remaining scratch
- the lower moon border was soften manually to better blend it with the now dark sky.
Of course I could just select the whole sky and change it all to solid black (i did this in my moon shot) but i tried this different procedure here.
