Not a complicated w/s, just cropped and reinstated a border.
(Sorry I lost your signature.)
It makes a completely different use of the space.
Hope you like it.
Kind regards,
Bev :-) |

 Workshop notes | AttilaLToth
(530) [2008-12-05 12:39:11] | Hi Angela,
the post-processing based on the jpeg of the scanned variant:
- change image mode to lab (best to reduce casts)
- add curves layer: reduce green cast (see screenshots)
- flatten image
- apply image: inverted a-channel on soft light at 100% (reduced green cast even more and slightly paled colors)
- usm on l-channel: amount=47, radius=2, treshold=1 (sharpened)
- change image mode to rgb
However I didn't manage to eliminate the remaining yellowish-green cast in the background and some cyan around the mouth and in the face.
Thus I thought that a grayscale variant would be an interesting alternative:
- separate green channel as grayscale
- paste colored and grayscale into one document
- add frames and captions
I hope that you like it and that it helps recovering photos from scanner "damage" :)
Best regards,
Attila |
