| Intro: | I am a certified teacher teaching part-time and working on my Master's in Elementary Education. I decided to combine photographic pleasure with my profession. I take LOTS of pictures and use hikes, driving and personal sojourns for my pictures as well as in my teaching responsibilities. I don't do photography professionally except as noted but I take many pictures of various subjects. I've been in computers and programming for 20 years and digital photography is a natural outgrowth of that interest. I started playing around, uploading, etc., in the late 90's and bought my first digital, a Sony Mavica, practicing and tuning the craft ever since for various (usually business) purposes such as for sales on eBay auctions. I have a few chestnuts from that era posted but they are very low-resolution. I used to really like the first Adobe program for pictures in Win98 as it was so easy to use at that time. Photoprocessing was weak at the time but as technology progressed, so did we and we can now do astounding things with a few clicks. I make an attempt to answer anyone with a question on a photo at some point in time, but don't always get to it so don't feel left out if I don't always answer quickly, life can be busy at times, especially when the school semester is in session. I also have re-examined my simple 'thank-you' responses and don't do that unless there's something serious to say or respond to that has been left. Take care, y'all.
