Camera-shake into deliberate, arty soft-

Hello from Perth again Joanne.
It's a real pain when an otherwise "good" photo suffers from camera-shake due to shooting in extremely low light . . . as in this case. But I've found that with a little work you can make it into a much more appealing 'soft-focus' effect. Blurring the background even more than the subject helps, as does blurring the really obvious double-lines, thereby removing the most obvious evidence of camera movement. I think it helps a bit in this pic. What do you think? :)

The original photo before I straighten the tilt/ slant, cropped and hues adjusted. This shot is a lucky catch throught the windows from a speeding bus. It was extra exciting to see a house painted with graffiti out of nowhere in vast countryside spaces.

The exact photo before invert treatment in photoshop. Here the rich details of frost and treepatterns etc. are lost in the underexposure compensated by the bright sunblaze.

Kids are always so filled with colours. But I felt something was wrong with the pictures due to their sulking expressions and downward turned faces - so I tried a hue desaturation to make the picture a little more heavy, solemn.
