| Intro: | Hello its nice to meet you! Its now April 2008 its been awhile since I joined this site ( thanks to a tip from my friend Laurent ) My Husband, Anders is a Ship Captain on the Great Lakes and is gone for 6 months out of the year so this site has been a great way for me to meet new friends and give me a new and rewarding hobby! My friend , Tricia knows excatly what I'm talking about there as her Husband Tom is a sailor too. I'm originally from Vermont, USA where I owned an operated a successful web based and store front for horse equipment. My experience with photography was taking point and shoot photos at my children , horses and my many other animals I had while living there. ( Also taking movies that make me car sick to watch! ha ha ) Since joining this site I have learned so very much from so many great and talented people and have met many wonderful new friends! I have to admit I'm not a daily user here as I have so many hobbies that I just don't have the time I'ld like to post and critque photos here but I visit whenever I can! We are currently living in Canada on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie where I am inspired daily at the beauty of the world around me and have grown to love landscape photography. As I post this new intro we are currently in the process of selling this house and moving back to the USA. We've purchased a new home in Vermont as I've found the distance from here to my two children is just too great. So I leave the Lake we love but off to new and exciting adventures and new opportunites for photographs for sure! Luckily I'll still be able to spend time on these beautiful lakes here though as I join my Husband for trips on his Ship. :o) My other hobbies and interests include painting, woodworking , I play guitar, walk, gardening, and do personal web design. Its fun for me now to go back and look at my older story editions and see the difference in the photography since I've joined this site and also since I got my new Canon Rebel XTi last October!
