(6897) [2008-04-04 15:02:50] [3] | Hi Tricia,
I love Maine! Can't wait to get up there to get some good seafood, around here they THINK they have seafoood but its Lake Perch!!
Anyhow for the panoramics get yourself a photostitch program its a hoot! You take some shots (lined up the best you can) then the program just magicaly hitches them together, you do need to do some editing afterwards but the program is awesome.
I played with your photo a bit myself as I haven't had a chance to take any photos myself in weeks and I miss playing with my paintshop!
I tilted the photo to the left a tad as it seemed to me it was leaning a bit, then warmed the colors a little to remove some of the blue from the landscape, decreased the color saturation about 5% and added a about 10 contrast.
I love those clouds!
Hope you don't mind me playing!
I bet you had a great time up there!

(6897) [2007-10-15 06:49:30] | Hi Michael,
your photo is great as it is but it looked so authentic I thought to myself, hmmm black and white. First I removed the border from your photo and I adjusted a slight tilt ( tilt might just be the tent I dunno) then I added greyscale, sepia then adjusted the sharpness and added the border back..your originally is prettier because of the contrasting colors though. :o) |

(6897) [2007-09-06 15:57:38] | Hi Tomasz,
I just wanted to see what your photo would look like without the seagull, so I asked him politely to leave..:o)
After cloning the seagull , I added about 8 contrast and sharpened, then removed the noise.
you got a great angle on this shot. I like it.
thanks again and hope you don't mind my workshop. :o)
