(2574) [2008-04-14 12:49:13] | I posted this one on TE having taken it just last month. We must have been standing in the very same spot!
Perhaps we should keep this little road a well-guarded secret!
Best Wishes,
John. |

(24490) [2006-03-20 08:42:35] [5] | I wanted to bring out the sun.
Photoshop:
- Selected everything except for the sky using Quick Mask Mode and black paintbrush. Exit Quick Mask Mode and inversed selection.
- Image adjustments: Levels. Moved right slider until it met the start of the mountain in the histogram.
- Duplicated layer twice.
- Bottom layer blending mode multiply, opacity at 40%.
- Top layer blending mode multiply, opacity at 100%.
- I hope you like it. |

enhance edges and saturate | hojper
(4078) [2006-01-08 10:38:05] | I know this has precious little to do with what you saw and shot and it is not an attempt to "improve" on your original. But it is for me an interesting exercise to turn a normal fairly grey picture into something very colourful just by enhancing the edges and saturating the colours. If it were a painting of that scenery I think it would be more like this. But as a photo yours is of course much more subtle and realistic.
Thanks for letting me play, Per |
