Colourized the shot, added a little contrast and reduced the brightness a little to increase the intensity of the colour and the mood. Cropped the shot on the left and right a little.
Used the lasso tool to select around the boy and inverted the selection, then coloured the surroundings using the colorize function in Image Ready CS2. Cropped the shot a little on the left and right to remove the plain walls.
I simply used Desaturate to convert to B&W in order to maintain the tonal openness and boosted the contrast a little in Levels. Although it's still a nice photo, the original is far better. The warmth of the red bricks is the difference. Stephen
Here the main thing - a look of the child. Colors very much distract a sight. It seems to me, that small framing and translation in bw a mode will be better (Tomorrow I shall show - the limit has ended.) The photo is pleasant.
cropped out the little hand..added some gamma and contrast and saturation...a mild sharpen and noiseware to further consolidate...upped the size to nearer 200..
