| Intro: | I have been a member of Treklens since October 2004. Being part of this International 'family' has been of enormous benefit in moving forward in my development as an amateur photographer. My first digital camera was a Canon Powershot A60. Easy to use and produced good shots. I moved on to a Konica Minolta DiMage Z2. This opened up new horizons with the 10x optical zoom. All of a sudden I was seeing the entire world through different eyes. My wonderful husband surprised me with a Canon EOS 10D on the 8th December 2004. Now, this was getting serious. A whole new adventure was heading my way. The learning curve was and still is steep. There is no light at the top yet, but the journey is a wonderful education. There are failures and successes, but always fun. I am a member of the North Shore Photographic Society and Photographic Society of New Zealand.
