(17846) [2007-12-08 05:50:00] [2] | Hi John,
I tried a crop because I thought a little less of the dark house would be better. You have to judge what you like better. Just a try.
Have a nice weekend,

 Panoramic view | Darlene
(1115) [2007-07-31 03:02:07] [2] | My last workshop for possible frames to this picture: a crop to create a more abstract and panoramic view of the flowers.
Again a simple black frame, I tried other colors but liked this one the most because it gives peace to a very showy picture.
Photoshop:
Rotated picture 38 CCW
Cropped
Edited black frame and white line with different layers
Hope I gave you some ideas, good luck John!

(1115) [2007-07-30 05:18:31] [3] | When you don't really want another colour or a big frame, you can choose to select the edges of the picture, and blur them. (Photoshop: Gaussian Blur radius 4).
Simple but nice!
Tomorrow one more.

(1115) [2007-07-30 05:17:07] [3] | Hi,
A simple black frame with pink (color selected out of the picture with Dropper Tool) line.
I use this a lot ;)
As you can see I've made a small crop.
ps: For all my editing work I've used Photoshop. |

(21700) [2007-07-27 14:02:31] [2] | | Hiya dad.. well you did ask for it to be framed! Yes I know its a bit wild and wacky. Cropped the sides to make the whole posey more central. Framing done with a colour dropper to match the sweet, sweet peas. Will show you how to do more framing when I am next over. |

(1115) [2007-06-29 10:00:45] [4] | Hi,
I liked the subject and colours of this picture so I played a bit with it in PaintShop. I cropped the original, blurred some background parts and I framed the picture. Hope you like it!

(17846) [2007-06-21 04:31:28] [3] | Good morning John,
Since I don't know if you use postprocessing or even use a computer much, maybe this is all abacadabra to you as it was to me when I joined TL 4 month ago. For others who might look at this WS I will add the technical data.
PS Auto Level/Hue +3 and lightness -3.
In PF opened new canvas with 2 borders, selected rose with polygone tool, turned rose upside down and added with clone stamp 3 part of rose on opacity ?I forgot.
Hope you like it.
Thanks

 Change back ground | Helkoryo
(21700) [2007-06-20 07:36:13] [1] | Hiya
Ok I did a quick workshop to change the back ground on your beautiful image. Now the rose stands out a treat and the eye focuses on it alone. Selected background and filled in as black. blured around egde. Added white lines for a little additional interest and re sized for upload. All done in Photofiltre. Hope you like it BDS xx |
