| Intro: | Hello Everyone.... My name is Dan Walsh, I'm a 30yr old Canadian Expatriate who's been living in Singapore for almost 8 years. I've been a member of TrekLens sister site TrekEarth for quite some time, and have now decided to expand my horizons a bit by joining TrekLens... Growing up, my family traveled extensively; but regardless of where I've been, I've always considered B.C. my "home" and I try to get back as often as I can (specifically Port Alberni, Vancouver Island). While in high school, I caught the photography bug. Starting off as just a media class that touched on photography, but quickly developing into a hobby when I realized that I could make some extra money from it- if I played my cards right. For a few years, I did odd jobs here and there- as well as a stint with the local newspaper. The newspaper I did for free as it was a great opportunity to get some of my photos in print, free film and the use of their darkroom! hahaha I took a break from photography for a few years while I was busy trying to decide what to do with my life... but I'm slowly getting back into it, this time in digital with my Canon camera's; Powershot S50, Canon 300D, and Canon 5D. I look forward to seeing everyones photos, and posting some of my own... I'm always open to constructive criticism, and look forward to hearing from everyone....
