1 - Auto-levels
2 - shadows/highlights 45%/22%
3 - selected the sky and used color balance to add a lot of blue
4 - used the blur tool to blur the noise generated by the changes
5 - select inverse
6 - color balance to add some green and yellow
7 - Hue/saturation to add saturation
8 - Sharpen tool to sharpen the front of the path

2 - used the sponge tool with desaturate mode at 50% to desaturate the excessive blue on the trees edges
