| Intro: | I discovered Trekearth in June 2004 and shortly after that Treklens. I am mainly a writer, camera has been second creative interest for a long time. Trekearth confronted me with an enormous challange - the adequacy of my camera, my adequacy and commitment as a photographer and so on. In September, we moved up from a point 'n' shoot Olympus to a Nikon Coolpix 4500 - selected for moderate price, moderate ego, ability to discover photographic technicality and refinement.
