| Intro: | Hi, I'm David. Many of my images are from my home state of California and my travels to Mexico, but more recently from Belize, Tampa, FL, Dayton, OH and most recently from Thailand where I have recently relocated to. Most of the early pictures were taken with my Nikon FM or my Pentax 67 using film. On most of these images any editing effects were either done in a darkroom or occasionally in a studio at the time that the picture was taken. I have recently aquired a Nikon D70 as digital has over riden all my darkroom work. I have taken some photography classes years ago at a junior college in California. This was before digital photography had gained much popularity and at the time all developing work and printing was done in a darkroom. I currently tend to use Photoshop for the bulk of the editing that I used to do in my darkroom. I find that this saves paper, chemicals, water, money, time, frustration, and the end results for reprints. | |
